Slow Cooker Ravioli Lasagna
This Slow Cooker Ravioli Lasagna is the ultimate easy comfort food! Layers of tender ravioli, seasoned ground beef, rich marinara sauce, and plenty of melted cheese come together in the slow cooker for a hearty, cheesy dinner the whole family will love.
Ingredients
- 1 lb frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
1. Brown the Beef
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and ground beef. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess grease.
2. Season the Beef
Add the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 1 minute, stirring until fragrant.
3. Start Layering
Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add a layer of frozen ravioli, followed by some of the cooked beef mixture, marinara sauce, and shredded mozzarella.
4. Repeat the Layers
Continue layering the ravioli, beef, marinara sauce, and mozzarella until the ingredients are used.
Finish with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
5. Slow Cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours, or until the ravioli is tender and the cheese is completely melted and bubbly.
Avoid overcooking, as the ravioli can become too soft.
6. Serve
Turn off the slow cooker and let the dish rest for a few minutes. Spoon onto plates and serve hot.
Tips for the Best Slow Cooker Ravioli Lasagna
- Use frozen ravioli rather than thawing it first.
- Don’t add too much sauce between the layers; the ravioli will cook in the sauce.
- For extra cheesiness, add more mozzarella during the final 20–30 minutes.
- Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving so the layers can settle.
- You can substitute ground beef with Italian sausage or ground turkey if desired.
