Ingredients:
1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based like almond/coconut)
½ teaspoon turmeric powder (or 1 tsp fresh grated turmeric)
¼ teaspoon black pepper (important for absorption)
½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for taste)
Small piece of ginger or ¼ tsp ginger powder (optional)
Instructions:
Heat the milk in a small pot (don’t boil).
Add turmeric, black pepper, and other spices.
Stir well and let it simmer for 5–7 minutes.
Strain if using fresh ingredients.
Add honey at the end and drink warm.
Why this works:
Black pepper helps your body absorb curcumin (the active compound in turmeric).
Warm milk + spices makes it easier to digest and soothing.
