Ingredients:
- 1 package of pizza dough (or make your own)
- 2 tablespoons of melted butter
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven: Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/2-inch thickness. Cut the dough into long strips, about 1-inch wide, using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
- Make garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and minced garlic.
- Assemble the breadsticks: Brush the garlic butter mixture over the top of the dough strips. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese, then add a pinch of dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Bake: Arrange the breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish and serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Let cool for a minute or two before serving.
