Chicken Alfredo Air Fryer Calzones Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
1 cup Alfredo sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 package pizza dough (or 1 prepared pizza dough ball)
Olive oil or garlic butter (optional, for brushing)
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Marinara sauce (optional, for dipping)
Preparation:
Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, and garlic powder. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated.
Shape the Calzones: Take a portion of pizza dough and roll it out into a circle. Place a generous amount of the chicken Alfredo mixture in the center of the dough.
Seal and Fold: Fold the dough over the filling to create a pocket. Press the edges tightly to seal the calzone.
Air Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the calzones in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t touch. Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, or until the calzones are golden brown and crispy.
Serve: Let the calzones cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the cheesy, creamy chicken Alfredo goodness!
Notes:
For extra flavor, you can brush the top of the calzones with olive oil or garlic butter before air frying.
Serve with marinara sauce or a side salad for a complete meal!
